Email Marketing - Skyrocket Your Sales

What exactly is email marketing and how effective can it be?

Email marketing is sending email messages to current customers to try to convince them to buy a product or service that you offer. Email marketing is accomplished through email campaigns and broadcast messages. So what is an email campaign?

An email campaign is the initial seven to ten messages you send out to your customer sharing the benefits of your product and a call to action to buy your product.

Studies show that a potential customer or prospect needs to see a product or offer around 7 times before they commit to buy. To help get your product in front of your potential customer 7 times, this is where email marketing comes in. You get the customer to join your email newsletter and you start an email campaign, which are usually seven to ten messages long. This trickle or drip marketing strategy helps to build trust between you and the prospect and they in turn become more comfortable with you and are more inclined to open their wallets.

If you have a brick and mortar (offline) business, email marketing is an easy way to build rapport with your customers. Email marketing can also be called relationship marketing simply because through your email campaign you are building a relationship with your customers. This leads to customer loyalty and repeat business. A good email campaign can also lead to referrals from pleased and loyal customers. A quick way to explode your business is to make your customers happy and they will gladly refer their friends and family to you.

Broadcast messages or newsletters are just as important as the initial email campaign. Broadcast messages are usually sent out once or twice a month. You can use broadcast messages to keep your customers up to date on any new products or services you provide. This will of course lead to more business.

The best way to achieve success is to use opt in email advertising. This asks the email recipient to consent to receiving emails from you the advertiser. Opt in email does away with all the freebie seekers that use phony email addresses just to get free stuff. Opt in also cuts down on spam. We all hate spam. You definitely don't want to send spam to a current or potential customer. Your customers are your assets; they keep your business alive. So do yourself a favor and utilize email marketing to grow your business.

There Aren't Any Standard Definitions for "Spam" or "Legitimate Marketing Email"

Spam poses some doubts. What are the consequences of sending it out if it's considered spam?

Is my email a legitimate marketing email or is it spam?

When can I send email advertising to a particular list of email addresses? and When can't I?

For example, you visit a site for Chinese crockery and which deals with art pieces also. You use a form at their website to submit your email address and tick a box that says, "Please send me a weekly email with special offers on Chinese crockery."

The store sends you an email asking you to confirm the request by clicking on a link, which you do. From then on you get an email once a week with... special offers on Chinese crockery from that store. It would then seem quite legitimate to most and would be difficult to find any faulty ethical issues.

Or Think of the spam emails you get offering "domestic air tickets" or "replica watches" or "trendy costumes and coupons"or something from a celebrity or a politician.

But there's a lot between these two..So, for example, take our Chinese crockery special offer email. What if they included a special offer for art pieces in one of those emails? Most people wouldn't be bothered. But a small percentage would now begin to see that email as spam.

What if you were a regular customer at that online store, always buying Chinese crockery. You never specifically requested special offers by email. But they send you them anyway. Again, some people wouldn't be bothered. Some would even welcome the emails. But many would see them as spam.

What if those unsolicited specials were for all kinds of crockery, not just Chinese? Here more people move to thinking about spam.

What if you weren't even a customer of that store? What if you weren't a customer and did never buy the crockery? Now we're deep into spam territory.

You see how the further you move away from that legitimacy ideal, the more and more recipients think you're sending spam.

Legitimate marketing emails are those where:
The email arrives in a timely manner
The recipients requested it
The email is relevant to the needs of the recipient
The recipient can stop getting the emails easily and any time
The email allows the recipient to quickly grasp who sent it and what it's all about

"Good" marketing emails are those based on permission. You can read more about permission here and I'd urge you strongly to fully digest the articles listed at that link.

Essentially, permission means that the recipient of that email has explicitly asked for those emails, or explicitly consented to receive them.

When someone asks to get your marketing emails, they have expectations of what they're going to get. The further you are from meeting those expectations, the more likely you are to be considered a spammer.

To remain firmly at the "good" end of the marketing email spectrum, you need to keep matching the recipient's expectations.

So of the ideas that we need to rethink about the issue, some are tackled very closely and skillfully by use of some relevant real time examples by these people here.

How to Make Recurring Money Online With Resell Hosted Email

Ah! Making money online, it is a red-hot topic. From getting paid to fill out surveys, to promoting CPA (cost per action) type affiliate offers, and selling your own products (like eBooks and how-to video tutorials) to offering copywriting or graphic design services, and continuing with holding seminars, workshops and even running blog networks and membership sites, "making money online" is an evergreen massive niche.

If you do not believe me, just talk with some of your "techie" friends or online contacts. And they will tell you they are involved in a way or another in a money-making "scheme". Whether it is MLM, network marketing or affiliate programs, people are interested to find a lucrative, extra money-making opportunity, particularly in today's shaky, unstable Economy.

MLM and network marketing programs are considered higher risk than affiliate programs because first of all, most affiliate programs do not require you pay upfront fees before you can start making money with such. Secondly, with MLM and network marketing program, you get training that somehow requires or suggests you contact your friends and family members. And we both know it is not OK to get out there and sell things to those close to you, right?

With affiliate programs you can work from anywhere in the world, but the most exciting part though is that you have a much wider audience with the Internet; you can promote that particular affiliate product anywhere in the world, unless the program restricts you in a way or another. You can drive traffic (as without human visitors checking out your link/site, nobody will buy or sign-up, correct?) using free or paid methods. Sky's the limit with associate programs, so the question is how what do you need to start with, right?

First of all, there a few things you need to understand before we move forward.

There are three main types of affiliate/associate programs: those who pay per click like Google AdSense for example; programs that pay per sale like ClickBank, and those who pay per action which are called CPA or PPA offers.

Each has their advantages. For beginners, the easiest way to make money is with AdSense or its alternatives like Chitika. Why is it easy? Because you do not have to get your visitors/referrals do buy things for you, or to sign-up for free/paid offers.

Pro bloggers and super affiliates have no preference over these methods. There are people who make big money with the first, the second and the third. However, not all of them make big money with all three options, meaning you have to focus on just one or two choices and have a blog, site or page that is focused on a single topic or product/offering. The more options you have on the page, the less money you will make on average.

The best type of affiliate programs are those that pay in residual income like AWeber if you promote email autoresponders, or MailQuatro if you want to promote email hosting. Recurring/residual income is amazing, as you get paid each and every month for as long as the customer you bring in stays with that company you referred her to.

With Mailquatro business email hosting you can access your email from any computer or mobile phone without the need to synchronize anything. MailQuatro is web based, so there is no risk of losing your email in case of PC failure.

Email List Building To Help Ensure Your Online Success

Email list building should be the number one thing that you as an online marketer should do to create consistent income, which can allow you to build an online business that will continue to generate profits for you month after month for years to come.

This is the one skill and ability that most (if not all) successful online marketers have said has made the biggest impact on their ability to create an online business that continues to generate consistent income month in and month out.

The reason for this is that when you do your email list building first as you are beginning your traffic getting efforts, you are creating your own personal source of traffic that you can use to promote your own products or offers too. And the more often you are able to communicate with your subscribers the more trust and rapport you will be able to develop with them and the more sales your business can generate.

You can also send emails to your subscribers that will direct traffic to other marketers promotions or offers in exchange for a return favor in the future or in exchange for earning a commission on those sales as well.

Quite often when creating an online business you will find it beneficial to create websites and offers in more than one niche or market area. It is vital that you do email list building for each niche using a separate email list so that you are able to keep all emails separate and specific to each niche market that it relates too.

This process can be very tedious, boring and time consuming unless you are using an automated system that is free and easy to use. Smart business owners know and understand the importance of automating key tasks that must be done on a regular basis to help ensure the success and growth of their business.

To create a successful list building strategy here are the basic things that you will need to do:

1.) Select your target niche that you will be marketing too. The better you are at learning and understanding the needs of your market, the better and more successful you are going to be in your marketing efforts, this is where market research is very helpful.

2.) Create an attractive offer for your visitors (Free Video series, Free Report or some other kind of Free Content of Value). This is what you will be offering your visitors in exchange for their contact information.

3.) Have your landing page setup - This will be the focal point of all of your initial marketing efforts. Even when you are promoting offers for other merchants you should always try to direct your prospects to a lead capture page first.

4.) Create your email greetings and follow-up letters. This should include a welcome or thank you page, followed by a series of informative and helpful emails that help to build trust and credibility for you.

5.) Start your marketing efforts and begin sending traffic to your landing page.

This basic process will need to be completed for each new niche or market that you will be promoting in, but it will only need to be setup once for that niche and it can be working for you on auto-pilot for year after year.

This is how successful, multimillion dollar online marketing business are built, by doing your email list building first and by putting it on auto-pilot so that you are free to focus your efforts on other profit generating activities.

Email Marketing: How to Build Your List?

I have been list building since 2003/04. I built lists, then sold them. I built blogs and sites and sold them. Anything can be sold online, for as long as your business is lucrative and you sell it entirely, or parts to one buyer. You cannot really sell a list over and over again, as that's illegal and immoral. But if that list is part of a site or blog, and you want to sell it and move over with something else, then that should be your exist option, just like with a regular brick and mortar business.

This is not to boast about my success or knowledge, but show you what is possible.

Anyway, the question is how to build your list. As with no list, you have nothing to sell, and nothing to monetize in the first place.

Your exit option is the end, and a new beginning. It should not be a goal in itself. Your main purpose though would be to develop a relationship with your prospects, subscribers and customers. You are starting a list not to fill your pockets with money, but to solve a problem or help other people to achieve their goals.

When you do so, money will follow. And before you move forward, you have to grasp the concept of money, and what that is. Look at money not as something that exist in itself, but perceive it as a form that has many facets, but its core is a value.

Money is not $100. Money is the value of what $100 can buy with it. There are big businesses who are successful, but their net worth is low, because they understand the power of cash flow and can generate large amounts of cash on a monthly basis. While there are other companies who are as successful, but their net worth is high (as they've invested their profit in cars and properties and gold and stocks, or whatever) and they have little cash from month to month.

And there are companies who have both because they understood the concept of money. And money should be imagined as a seed. You plan that seed into the ground. And within a year, or whatever, that seed will generate 10 other seeds or maybe (lots) more. A seed is a seed. You can plan it and it'll grow, or it'll never grow. But the more you plant, the more it will grow. This is not gambling, but an exact science. Any business who understands the numbers game, will run their venture not blindfolded, but by estimations, and will profit accordingly.

Those who overlook or skip the numbers and estimations, will turn into a lose game, as they did not understand the nature of money and its implications.

This article is not a tech guide on how to build a list, or how to add an HTML form to your site, there are plenty of free tutorials out there on YouTube/Google. What this article wants to leave you with is with the concept of list building. And that is planting seeds. Your relationship with people onto your list, individually, and as a group is the foundation of your business, so plan your seeds accordingly.

Email Marketing - Make It Count

Email Marketing is one of the most cost effective ways to contact prospects and customers.

When compared to the cost of Direct Mail, Email Marketing is considerably less expensive and can have a much larger and faster impact on immediate sales.

When done correctly, email marketing can be extremely powerful and cost effective. No other medium allows such easy and measurable access to help your business build value and credibility. The trick is to realize that when email marketing is done incorrectly, it can also become one of the most destructive things that can happen to your business. Irresponsible email marketing can quickly erode your brand equity, alienate customers, and virtually guarantee that your prospects never buy from you.

This guide is designed to give you some insights on how you can use best practices to allow your business to make the most of your email marketing campaigns, maximize your return on investment, and truly profit from permission-based email marketing.

It is our goal and sincere desire that you and your business effectively implement and benefit from this guide.

Feel free to distribute this guide to your business associates, team members, web site visitors, etc... provided that the information is provided as-is.

Top Ten Tips For Email Marketing Success:

Only send emails to people and businesses who have requested to receive them. Otherwise, you are spamming (sending unsolicited commercial email) which will undoubtedly get your emails blacklisted, blocked, and trashed.
Only send content that is relevant to what the receiver has requested. When someone requests information from you, they are placing their trust in you that they will receive relevant information. Violating that trust can quickly cause your prospects to unsubscribe.
Be consistent with your sending schedule, whether daily, weekly, bi-weekly. As your subscribers become familiar with your consistency, their trust in you (and your value to them) are increased.
For best results, we recommend sending business emails on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Business emails sent on Mondays can easily be lost in the weekend clutter. Business emails sent on a Friday can easily be ignore in the rush to get away from the office for the weekend.
Make your "From" name in your messages either your company name or the name of a contact person at your business. Then be consistent in using that name. Many times, the decision to open an email or not is made in a split-second. By using a name that is familiar to your subscribers, you dramatically improve the odds of having your message opened.
Create your messages in both HTML and plain text. When you send only in HTML, approximately 5% of your subscribers will simply receive a blank email due to their email program not being able to display HTML properly.
Avoid using all caps or multiple exclamation marks in your subject line or body. Not only does this make your message appear unprofessional but it will also trigger spam filters which will cause your messages to get blocked.
Don't try to "trick" spam filters by doing things like adding dots to your words (like F.R.E.E.). Email companies employee staff to constantly monitor and manage filters to catch these tricks. Keep your writing professional and always write with regard to the actual human being that will be reading the message when it is opened.
Never miss an opportunity to build your list. Add subscription forms to your web site or blog. When you receive a business card, ask if you can add them to your email list. If you have a brick and mortar business location, place a signup sheet in view of your customers and offer to send them email updates, special offers, coupons, etc...
Track your click-throughs using an AdTracker. Knowing how well your messages are generating reader interest can help you maximize your email marketing campaigns. Use an AdTracker for each link to see which messages are getting the best responses and which messages may need some tweaking.

Keys To Successful Email Marketing:

Always use a permission-based email marketing system.
Decide on the type of content you will be sending such as a newsletter, coupon offers, special announcements, training, sales messages, etc... and stick to that type of content.
Add signup forms to your blog or web site so that you can start converting web site visitors in to subscribers.
Develop quality relevant content and begin sending your message out to your list. Continue sending relevant content to your list, making sure to keep your schedule consistent. As your list grows, you will begin to notice increased repeat traffic to your web site and/or place of business which should result on increased sales (If applicable).
Use personalization in your subject lines and content to improve open and response rates in your email marketing. This is accomplished by inserting tokens in to your body message as you create your messages.
Remind your subscribers to add your email address to their approved senders list. As major ISP's are becoming increasingly aggressive about filtering email, you'll want to be sure your subscribers can receive your messages. You can accomplish this by adding a reminder to your subscription confirmation pages, such as: To ensure you receive the requested information, please addemail @yourcompany.com to your Address Book. Thank you!

How to Build Relationships With Your Prospects Through Your Email Marketing Campaign

Aright, here's the thing. Business owners are looking for ways to boost their sales and online revenue. But the problem is... there are so many competitors online today. If you ever hope to make it big online, there are other things you must do first. You cannot achieve success by sending traffic to your website. What I mean is you need to build relationships with the people who visit your website. In order to do this you're going to have to learn a few new things. It's a, I am a content marketer. This means that I write and distribute multiple articles a day to the online directories. And if I didn't do this, in my opinion, I would not have a business today.

Creating your very own email marketing campaign can help you build a relationship with your prospects. Here's what you need to do to get started:

1. Once someone joins your email marketing list through the various marketing methods you have chosen, you should send them an email thanking them for subscribing to your mailing list. Tell them how excited you are now that you get to help them. Show them this through your several emails.

2. Stay on task. The trick is to be consistent and make sure that you provide these people with the information you promised them. Make sure your content is of high quality. You want to impress your prospects so make sure you have several emails already written for them.

3. Your email marketing campaign will go smoothly if you help your subscribers. This is how you are going to gain their trust. You'll need to find ways to help them solve their many pressing issues. I suggest that you go to the forums or visit blogs where you can assess the information and choose what will best fit your subscribers needs. Crucial tip: If one of your prospects emails you, always reply with a helpful tip and answer any questions they have. This is how you gain their trust.

4. Make sure that you are friendly with your subscribers. If you use Facebook, invite them to your page. Let them into your personal life; show them pictures of your family. Obviously you don't want to share too much information, but the key here is to gain their friendship. Proven Steps To More Effective Email Marketing

If you're not seeing the results you want with email marketing, then it may be necessary to start from the beginning and analyze your approach. This article will delve into a few list marketing areas that you may need to address after reading.

There is nothing more annoying than subscribing to a list and discovering you have to jump through hoops if you want to ever leave it. Attrition from email lists is totally normal for any email marketer, so just give them a link to do it and never worry about it. As you know, the usual procedure involves just a couple of clicks and is automated.

There will be lots of unknown reasons why people will want to unsubscribe. There are many ethical and acceptable ways to increase the stick rate of your subscribers, which is why you should ensure that you're taking the right approach towards it.

If you do not have any tell-tale sign that you are the creator of your site, then we would urge you to do something about that. So in order to build this trust and the bonding you share with your list, add an offline point of contact that could be your physical address and your phone number. You never know who may choose to call you or even why, but it may happen. People these days are very careful about who they deal with through email, because of the growing amounts of spam mail hitting inboxes.

Another excellent suggestion we will offer is giving more control to your email list, and by that we mean let them just hit reply and be able to mail back to you.

Even if you take the strictest measures to make sure that you don't end up in the spam/junk folder of your subscribers, chances are that it might happen. Remember that many people work best when they are told what to do, and that is why actively directing subscribers to white-list your email address is important. This is not always an issue as the larger autoresponder services have already made sure that the larger ISPs have white-listed their emails. Since all you have to do is make the page once, then we think it is worth it. Even if it helps a little bit, then the effort will be worth it.

If we analyze the points that we discussed above, it's easy to conclude that improving your email marketing results isn't really rocket science, but it's about applying a number of proven steps over a period of time.

How to Write an Email a Day

This article is for those people who are currently doing email marketing but are struggling in writing at least one email per day. In this article, I'll give you a step-by-step guide on how you can make this endeavor a lot easier and a lot manageable so read on!

First, I would suggest that you think of topics that you can write for the next couple of weeks. This is to ensure that you will not run out of ideas too soon. Get great topic ideas by going to forums, blogs, and by doing keyword research. Focus on those topics that are extremely interesting to your target audience and those that are closely related to the business that you're running. Ensure that you target all the angles of your chosen topic so you'll be able to write more emails. For example, if you're writing about article marketing, you can write emails on these topics: tips on how to get started, tips on how to succeed, choosing the topics, making the content coherent, getting readers to act, etc.
Keep your emails specific and short. You don't need to give your readers everything they need to know in one email. If you do, they will not have a reason to watch out for your next emails, right? Focus on specific topics (just like the ones I listed on step 1) and offer just enough information but leave your recipients wanting for more.
Write first thing in the morning. If you've got a lot of things going on, I suggest that you put this task on top of your priority list. Write your emails first thing in the morning when you have a very well rested body and fresh mind and spirit. These will actually help you create amazing, high quality email.
Before you start writing, check forums and blogs related to your niche to know the hottest issues being discussed by both the industry leaders and your potential clients. You would want to discuss something that can easily capture the attention of these people. Send your emails right away if you're talking about time-sensitive information.
Create an outline. Creating an outline will help you make the whole task a lot easier. This will help you ensure that your content will sound organize and that you'll be able to cover all the information you need to discuss.
Impress your recipients. Just like when you're writing articles, blog posts, or Squidoo lenses, ensure that your main goal is to educate and help your readers. Unless you've already built strong relationship with these people, avoid sending them emails containing blatant ads or sales pitches. Instead, focus on addressing their learning needs. Provide answers to their questions, offer them with expert tips that they'll be able to make use of, and offer them how-to guides. As I said a while ago, do not give these people every piece of information that they're looking for. Leave them wanting for more and direct them to either your website or your blog.

The Power of Email Marketing and Social Media Marketing

Introduction
The main lifeline for a company to survive is generating new sales and repeat business from existing customers. Without existing customers staying connected and engaging with you and new leads entering your sales pipeline you company will stay stagnant and not grow. However, implementing a well planned email marketing strategy can help your business generate new leads and nurture existing clients to ensure continued growth.

Nearly everyone uses email and it is continually growing and evolving. Email marketing is a drip marketing technique which is a direct marketing strategy. It involves scheduling promotional messages with relevant and specific calls to action sent via email. It is a campaign spread over a period of time.

5 things to consider with email marketing
Everyone has heard the saying 'don't run before you can walk', well the same applies to email marketing. Any email campaign must have best practices implemented before any social media integration. If your email campaign is poor it doesn't matter how much social integration you have, it just won't work. So, here are some basic guidelines.

#1 Start with a clean database
Make sure your contact database is clean and complete as this determines how successful your email marketing campaign will be.

#2 Keep it personal
Always make your emails personal so your readers know you are human and feel like you are personally addressing them. Rather than starting 'Dear friend' or 'Dear customer', use the greeting 'Hi John' as this will go a long way.

#3 Compose a catchy subject line
As soon as the email lands in the inbox of the recipient it is the subject line that will stand out next to the sender's name. Ensure the subject line is catchy and will compel the reader to open the email. It is the subject line that will make or break your email.

#4 Educate and Captivate
Never hard sell in your email. Remember, your readers subscribed to receive email communication that has valuable content - not emails that are sales pitches.

#5 Design your emails for mobile devices
Mobile and Smartphone's are now indispensable for both personal and business users. More and more people are using their mobile devices to read emails and browse the web. Ensure your email is correctly designed for mobile users.

Benefits of Social Media and Email Marketing
Social media has exploded in the last few years and more and more people are using sites such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. This explosion has transformed the way people communicate online and more importantly how companies market their products and services to their target audience.

3 ways to combine Social Media with Email Campaigns
Social media can be integrated into your strategy in a number of ways. However, the method that you choose depends on what you want to achieve. For example if your goal is to syndicate your content online then you will want to target your campaigns to encourage readers to share your content on their social networks.

In 2010 Aweber conducted a survey. The results showed that 36% integrate social media into their email marketing with the purpose of asking readers to send the email on to their social network followers.

The three main tactics for implementing an integrated social media and email strategy to share your newsletter content are as follows:

1. Include 'Share' buttons in your newsletters
Including social sharing links in your email newsletters is a great way of combining social media with email marketing. It is also a great way of encouraging your readers to share content. Most websites have a share button on them to make it easier to share. Five tips you should consider:

1. Identify the most relevant social networking sites.

2. Integrate the 'share' icons in your newsletter templates.

3. test the new newsletter template with a focus group.

4. Roll out the news letter template to the rest of your database.

5. Track shared article metrics.

2. Increase your social following through email campaigns
As well as including the 'share' icons in your email newsletters, it is equally as important to include links for your subscribers to follow you on social networking sites. Add call to actions including 'Follow us on Twitter' and 'Like us on Facebook', even 'Subscribe to our YouTube Channel'.

Also change your email signature to include these 'follow' links.

3. Promote your email content in the social Media Platforms
Be confident and cross promote your email marketing and social media. Just like you inform your subscribers to your email marketing list about your social media profiles, you can do the same on your social networks informing your followers of your newsletter.

Remind all your Facebook fans, Twitter followers, Linked In Followers and YouTube subscribers that you have a great email newsletter and encourage them to subscribe. Email marketing should be used as a catalyst for starting conversations online about your brand.

Conclusion
Email marketing is the least costly method of marketing but the most measurable, most effective and easiest to implement as part of your online marketing strategy. More importantly, by incorporating social media into your email marketing strategy you can boost your business, keep your audience engaged and enhance your brand reputation.

Profitable Email Subject Lines - 3 Quick Tips for Prospect Pulling Subject Lines (No ZZZZZs Allowed)

Email subject lines determine whether or not your email gets opened. So you want to spend more that passing attention to how you craft them, if you want more prospects that is.

Most people spend the least time possible on this crucial part of email marketing. This is just another case of the importance of not doing what most people do, because most people are broke. And lack of creativity with this is one of the reasons.

So here are 3 quick tips for creating subject lines that get your emails opened.

3 Quick Subject Line Tips

Tip #1 - Avoid, at all costs, the same old same old boring subject lines. Most of these cause your prospect to yawn at best and to delete your email at worst.

Here's an example of a very boring one often seen: "New Resources Available for You" - ZZZZ

Write your subject line, leave it alone for awhile, and then come back to it later. If it does not make you think "Wow, even I want to open that email" then you have some more work to do. Show your it to other folks, and if it does not get them excited, you have some more work to do.

Tip #2 - Have some fun with this, and get creative. Think "what would make me open this email?" Frank Kern uses this one often: "OH NO YOU DIDN'T!" And I really like this one that Mark Hendricks uses: "Only for those who open my email."

Hard to turn either of those down - they become "must open emails."

Take a look at your subject lines and consider how you can have some fun with them, and make them irresistible and have-to-open.

Tip #3 - Keep a "swipe file" - You get email, I get email, all God's children get emails. Pay attention to the ones your delete right away, and ask yourself why. In many cases you will find that the emails you delete have boring subject lines.

And pay attention to the emails you get that make you want to open them right away. Keep a swipe file of those email subject lines that you can pull out when you are writing your emails. Find the ones that were irresistible to you, and then adapt them accordingly for your email subject lines.

Make boring ZZZZ subject the unforgivable sin in your email marketing.

How To Find The Right Email Marketing Business Solution

The average business person never learns exactly how to launch an effective email marketing campaign. How can you? You are too busy trying to keep your head above the water. Unfortunately, not having an email campaign greatly limits your customer base. The internet is world wide. With email marketing you can reach all of the remote areas of the world.

Email marketing is not just for online businesses, either. It is quite effective for offline businesses, as well. Many grocery stores have started sending weekly fliers by email. This is much cheaper than sending paper fliers that have to be hand delivered by hired paper carriers.

Paper fliers and other advertisements, such as specials, coupons or special sale notices are delivered to every household in a particular area. Even to people that do not shop at that store and have no intention of ever doing so. Email fliers are only sent to people that have shown an interest in a particular shop, service or product.

Astonishing Results

It is not unusual for a business to double its sales after just one email marketing campaign. And you don't have to be a marketing genius. There are plenty of companies that will handle the entire campaign for a very reasonable price. These companies compile a list of opt-in subscribers eager to hear from you. They then send out newsletters as frequently as you like. In most cases, weekly is just right. People do not want to hear from you every day.

What to Look for in Email Marketing Solutions

Does the service offer double opt-in?

With double opt-in the subscriber opts to see your products or services twice. First when they agreed to receive your newsletter and then again once they receive the email. In the example about the grocery store the customer has agreed to receive the e-flier, then to view the weekly specials, he must click a link in the email which takes him to the entire flier, or the web site.

This not only assures they are anxious to see what you have to offer, in today's world of spam, it is a mandatory feature. This feature also substantially converts clicks into sales.

How much does the service charge?

In all matters of business, cost is always a factor. The most expensive is not only the best. You can find very good email solution service companies for about $30 a month.

Do they provide statistics and reports?

It is important to know where your campaign stands. Are all of your efforts worth the cost? Statistics and timely reports will show you which newsletters have better conversation rates and which have larger unsubscriber rates. If your newsletter is making people drop from your list, it is time to rethink your sales pitch.

Email marketing should be a top priority for businesses, whether online or off. You can improve customer relations, reach more people and increase your bottom line. Find the right email marketing solution for your business and you will be successful.

Why Should You Do Email Marketing Anyway?

Some folks will tell you that email is dead. They say that everyone has moved to social network sites and never use email anymore. It is true that social networks get a lot of traffic and folks tend to waste a lot of time there, email marketing is still the best way to build a relationship with people and build your sales with that group of subscribers.

If you've been doing internet marketing for any amount of time, you've heard the phrase "The money's in the List". And that is still a very true statement. Your list of subscribers can be worth insane amounts of money to your business if you take care of that list and market to it properly.

I've seen reports that state as much as $40 ROI for every $1 spent on email marketing. Most marketers that have figured it out will say their subscribers are each worth $1- $2 per subscriber per month. Now think about that, if you have 10000 loyal subscribers or maybe even 1000, that can be a significant income each month.

If you take care of your list, provide them with good content and relevant offers they will stay with you and be eager buyers for a long time. It is possible to send out a single email and generate thousands of dollars overnight. I don't know about you, but I think that is a really good reason why you should do email marketing.

Email marketing can keep your business on the minds of your customers. If you have a baseball glove company, sending periodic emails with good content will keep your company in the minds of your customers. Then when you have a new product launch or a big sale coming up, you can promote it to your list and receive a lot more sales that way.

Perhaps you have a small online company that sells consulting services. If you just spend all your advertising dollars on banner ads, or PPC ads you will probably get some sales if you put up good ads. Now, if you send those folks to a lead capture page first and get them to join your email list you can market to them over an over.

Remember, it takes most buyers 5-7 times seeing the same offer before they actually decide to purchase it. You do get some first time buyers but the majority of buyers don't buy the first time the see your ad. So getting them on your list is like turning them into gold. It just gets more valuable over time. Plus a targeted email campaign can track how many readers opened the email and clicked your link. That kind of data is priceless.

Although the majority of people today belong to at least one social networking site, they still all have an email account or two that they check regularly. If they purchase something online, they get receipts by email. They do job searches online, they do business online, so the email is not dead. Use it to your advantage and get your email marketing campaign going today.

How to Get Started With SMS Marketing

SMS marketing is an important communication channel for marketing. But if you haven't done it before, it can seem difficult to get started. Often I hear marketers talk about how SMS marketing isn't right for their business. Or they're worried about customers responding negatively to their messages. And these are valid concerns. However, when done properly SMS marketing can be a very effective communication tool with clear benefits for businesses of all sizes.

Benefits of SMS marketing

Relatively low costClose to 100% open rates (the highest of all marketing mediums)Almost immediate deliveryROI trackingPersonalisation and targeting capabilities

So if you have a short message you want customers to see as soon as possible, sending an SMS is an excellent way to go. But before you jump in, there are a few things you need to know.

Your requirements

Just like email marketing, SMS marketing is permission based. So it's vital to have consent and comply with anti-spam legislation. Here in Australia, the Spam Act 2003 incorporates email and SMS marketing with the same basic requirements applying to both.

Consent must exist prior to sending your messageThe recipient should easily be able to identify the senderThe recipient needs to have a simple method for opting out

Australia's governing body ACMA provide good advice for adhering to anti-spam legislation around consent for SMS marketing. Plus sms marketing software providers like Vision6 take the worry of processing opt out requests off your hands as this happens automatically with the capture of SMS responses from your campaigns.

Common uses

SMS marketing is a whole lot more than sending sales and promotional messages to customers. In fact, if these are the only SMS messages you're sending to customers, you may need to reassess your SMS marketing. SMS is also a great option for:

Event and appointment remindersBirthday and anniversary messagesService alertsEmergency notices (such as product recalls)

And yes...

CompetitionsTime sensitive promotions

Important considerations

People tend to be more protective of their mobile phone than they are their email address. This is mostly because it's considered a personal device reserved for communicating with friends and family. So be mindful how you start communicating with people via SMS.

Make your messages helpful first, promotional second. When asking for a mobile phone number, be clear on why you're asking for it and the types of messages people can expect to receive from you.Always give people options. Let them choose how they want to be contacted whether it's via email, mobile or both.Only send SMS messages at appropriate times. Nobody likes being woken up at 6am by the buzzing of their phone.

No Email Marketing, No Online Success

Email marketing is a very popular method of advertising products and services. However, many companies are still not comfortable advertising in this way. Maybe you feel the same. Maybe you just don't understand the benefits. Maybe you don't know who to send your advertising message to.

Finding email addresses is quite simple, but time consuming. It is much easier to hire a service. This service collects thousands of emails for a variety of niches. Within days they will have cultivated hundreds of people interested in your particular product or service. These email service companies are also capable of launching an effective email campaign on your behalf.

Cost Effective

Email marketing campaigns are one of the most cost effective methods of advertising. You don't need to have thousands of letters printed and pay postage to mail all those letters. Sending email is free. All you need is a mass emailing program or a provider that sends the email for you. These are very reasonably priced and you can instantly send thousands of emails per day or week, whichever you prefer.

Reach the World

Email is world wide. Just about every person in every country in the world has internet access. In an instant you can reach new clients from any where in the world. This is nearly impossible and extremely expensive with regular mail

Faster Conversion

With an internet offer, your customers can make a purchase right on the spot. There is nothing to mail in, no stores to visit and no phone call to make. Just a few clicks and their order is in. Of course, not every email you send will be a sale, but the conversion rate is much higher than with any other type of advertising.

Targeted Audience

With an email marketing campaign you only send your message to people that have shown an interest in your product or service. This is targeted marking. You are not wasting a lot of time and money mailing your advertising material to people that will toss it as soon as it arrives.

Keep in Touch

Email allows you to keep in touch. Your potential clients can refer back to your email whenever they like. With other advertising methods your message will be tossed in the trash. Even if someone does have a special spot where they keep fliers and other mailings, chances of them going through that pile and buying something are slim. Most likely the whole pile will be tossed within a day or so. No one likes that much clutter.

Your email marketing team can also tailor each email to make it more personal. This creates a bond between you and your potential customers. If they ever have any questions or problems, they can contact you much easier. People prefer that to waiting on hold on the phone for hours.

Email Marketing Blueprint For Your Business

In this article you are going to discover the blueprint of doing email marketing. Actually, selling things in email is very effective. If you are doing it right, money will come in a short period of time just by sending an email. However, most business owners are doing it wrong. It is mainly because they are solely focus on "selling" to their email subscribers. Unless you always have "deals of the day", chances are people may already feel tired to response to your email offer. Therefore here you will find out how to do email marketing correctly, starting from collecting contact information to converting them to customers.

Getting People To Subscribe

The first step of doing email marketing is to collect visitors' contact information. If you are doing business online, that will be name and email address. Otherwise you may want to get more information like phone number and postal address. Assume that you are doing business online, you need to setup a page, which is called "landing page", that people will visit when they reach your website first. And in the landing page, there is only one action a visitor should consider to do it or not: either providing contact information or leave, nothing else.

If you want to increase the number of subscription, you may want to include your opt-in form in all your webpages. So if people come to your website other than landing page, they still have an opportunity to subscribe your newsletter and get your free offer.

If you want to increase the response rate, or click-through rate, of your page, using video to present your offer may be a good solution. It is already proofed by numerous marketers that video converts better than plain text. So you are suggested to convert your sales letter to a video to get maximum return.

Building Relationship With Subscribers

Only a very few amount of people will buy from a website if it is the first time they reach a website. Therefore, it becomes very important to follow up with those subscribers and finds out what they want. To establish a good relationship, first of all you send them an email and thanks them about jumping into your free offer. Then you can send a series of newsletter that contains high quality content that can help subscribers to move one step closer to their final objective. It is suggested to send one email per day for 7 days, to get the best response.

Convert them to customers

Let's go back to landing page for a second. The quality of your customers depends heavily on what kind of offer you are using to build your email list. For example, if you are using a discount coupon to build your list, people who subscribe are the one who are interested in buying stuff at the low price. That means if you are selling your product at a normal price with lots of features, your list may not response to it very well. While using a discount coupon is a good way to build your list, your offer should be able to solve the biggest problem your customers are facing in your target market right now, and offer it for free in exchange of visitor's contact information.

The next step is to follow up with them in your 7 emails in 7 days campaign. The main objective is to focus on providing useful content for subscribers and move them closer to their final goal. You should think in this way: if you do not want to receive sales email every day, your customers feel the same as you. While selling stuff through email is OK, only focus on selling stuff in every email could be a problem.

How is it done and why?

Nowadays, this procedure is already common to a lot of people across the globe. It's as simple as sending an e-mail to a lead or potential client. Which Email Newsletter Is Right For Your Business?

If want to use email marketing to promote your business then you will need to decide on what kind of newsletter you are going to send to your contacts. For example, the monthly newsletter that I produce is aimed at giving my contacts tips on how to save time and money; however, you may be more interested in selling products or sharing valuable content such as blogs and articles. Whatever your objectives in using email marketing, you need to adapt your newsletter format accordingly.

So before you get started with email marketing, here are 3 types of email newsletter that you can use to promote your business to your online contacts.

Tips and special offers. You can use the newsletter to provide valuable tips and advice related to your services, or to offer special promotions on your products or services. I would suggest that you make this content exclusive to your mailing list, ie it's not accessible anywhere else, either on your website or Facebook page. By making your contacts feel like they're joining an elite club, they will be more compelled to sign up and in time, appreciate the content that you're sharing with them.

Blog/article digest. If you're struggling to find content for your newsletter, then you can use blog posts that you've already written. This helps to promote your content to a wider audience and blogs are a great way to share your knowledge and expertise, and build trust with your contacts. Many email marketing programs can do this for you automatically, so you can specify the number of blog posts to add to the digest and how often you want to send it out.

Plain text newsletter. This is a newsletter that contains text only, no images, styling or formatting. In fact, a lot of internet marketers send this type of newsletter when they're promoting a product for a limited time. This type of newsletter will contain links in the text which take people to a sales page on the website, where they can buy something or sign up to a mailing list to receive a free product which is then leading on to a sale.

So which one is right for you? Most small business owners use the first option when they're sending out their newsletters. Giving your contacts valuable information will help you to build a relationship with them, which over time will build up enough trust that they will want to do business with you. However, each business is different so you need to decide which format will be the most effective.

Therefore, you need to think about what you want to achieve with your email marketing so you can focus your content towards your objectives. By doing this, you are more likely to achieve the results you want, and generate leads for your business.

Should You Buy Email Marketing Software?

If you do not know by now, there are a few reliable business email hosting providers offering their members the same features and benefits as an email client, if not even more. From unlimited storage, to data backup and hassle-free anti spam & anti virus protection - these are options one can find on most email providers.

The question is: should you still buy an email marketing client?

Why would you do it? Here are a few key reasons:

1. If you want to be the single person to have access to your list, and do not want to leave it hosted on a third party server.

Privacy is a key concern in today's Economy, so if you are sitting on the fence and dislike the idea of allowing somebody else (be it a reputable third party provider or ISP) to host your email correspondence, then using a software client would be the right thing to do, long term wise.

2. If you want to run your mailing list and need click tracking and open rate statistics for maximum performance, then the proper software to handle your email marketing looks like being the next logical step.

3. If you are not a professional graphic designer and you want your emails and newsletters to look and feel professional, then an email client might provide you with built-in newsletter templates or layouts/skins you can download for that particular software.

So, before you decide for your email client, make sure it meets your business goals and individual objectives. Due diligence is required like in anything we do in life. I believe one should not take the free route when it comes to running an Internet or offline business with online presence. You get what you pay for is a true remark, and you better be prepared to spend a few days and go in depth on these email clients.

The scope of our article is far beyond reviewing the best email clients. I will leave this aspect for another topic, and now, before we wrap it up, I would like to leave you with a final tip:

My last advice: go with a business email hosting provider that you feel safe with, and at the same time, select an email client you feel empowered with to achieve your end goals and finish your tasks like a pro.

We are spending at least an hour a day checking emails, so this step should not be taken lightly.

With Mailquatro business email hosting you can access your email from any computer or mobile phone without the need to synchronize anything. MailQuatro is web based, so there is no risk of losing your email in case of PC failure.

Tips to Improve Your Industrial Email Marketing

Are you finding that your industrial email marketing isn't exactly delivering the results you were expecting? You expend your best efforts, maybe even hire outside experts to help you execute - but your response rate is still pitifully low (that would be below 10% in a manufacturing company.) If you can relate, read on for some tips that can help improve your email marketing campaigns.

Make your subject line priority #1: The subject line of your email is probably THE most important key to a successful campaign. If the subject line doesn't compel the reader to open your email, you lose. You've got no more than 50 characters to hook them so Include as much important and relevant information in your subject line as possible. For instance, if your email contains a special offer, make sure the offer is explicitly spelled out in the subject line. Example: "20% Discount on Safety Services - Today Only".

Brian Clark, founder of Copyblogger Media suggests trying to get four fundamentals into your simple and direct subject line.

* Useful: Is the promised message valuable to the reader?
* Ultra-specific: Does the reader know what's being promised?
* Unique: Is the promised message compelling and remarkable?
* Urgent: Does the reader feel the need to read now?

Break out your lists: Instead of sending every email to every address in your email database, try drilling down and segmenting specific groups to receive information that will be more useful or pertinent to them, or that has the greatest chance of a response. At the most basic level, segment current customers from prospects. Get creative, and experiment. The more you try to address very specific, individual requirements and interests, the better your response rate.

Make your content relevant: This may seem like overstating the obvious, but you'd be surprised how often the content of an email broadcast is nothing more than a print ad plastered into an email. Does the content of your email somehow provide value, or is it "all about me?" (your company.) You must continually put yourself in the position of your email recipients and think about what would convince them to open and act on your email. Focus more on how your products or company can ease their pain. Keep it short, and don't bore the reader with too much content. If there's more to be said, give them a link with the option to click over to a "Read More" page. The whole point of the email is to get the person to take the next step. What do you want that to be, and how do you convince them to do it?

Be vigilant about keeping your email list clean: Regardless of how you've populated your initial email list, this will be an ongoing, never-ending process - and is crucial to the success of your campaigns. Having a list that contains dead email addresses can lead to spam complaints, hard bounce-backs, (an e-mail that has bounced back to the sender undelivered without having been accepted by the recipient's mail server) "unknowns" (non-responders) and spam traps (software filters that block e-mail addresses that are known to send spam.) If these factors continue, they can ruin your email reputation and prevent your emails from getting through to your recipients. The best email list is one that has been populated over time by the recipients themselves, by "opting" to receive information from your company (building an email list is another whole article in itself.) If you're just starting with email marketing, chances are good you don't have that list yet. Use a good email service provider (ESP) that provides assistance and analytics about which email addresses are no longer in use and which emails bounce back, and then delete. After a recipient has failed to open a number of your emails, segment them out into a "never open" list. If the contact seems worthy of the effort, do a little digging to try and understand how you can tailor your message more specifically to that person's needs, and try again. If THAT tactic is unsuccessful and you know this person is a perfect target, maybe it's time to send a postcard through snail mail with an incentive to respond. Don't forget all your other marketing options and rely on email as the magic bullet. You can also go to LinkedIn. Doing this list housekeeping will keep your list clean and improve your email deliverability.

If you can afford a marketing automation tool, PERSONALIZE: I don't mean addressing the email with "Dear John Doe." When I say personalization, I mean the email is coming from the regional manager, account manager, inside sales person, or whomever will be interacting the most with the email recipient. Automating the process and making the emails always come from that one main contact person can increase your email response rate by 4 times. Another way to personalize is to write your copy as if you know exactly what they do and how you can solve their problems. Example: your opening line may be: "As a refinery reliability manager, we know that too many out of service pumps can keep you up at night."

Timing isn't everything but needs consideration: Use common sense and experiment. When Marketects sends an email for an industrial client, we avoid sending out the email early in the morning. When someone comes to their desk first thing in the morning, your email is competing with all the other automated emails that came in overnight, along with early morning meetings, urgent situations, co-workers wandering in, etc. If you send too late in the afternoon, your recipient may have already left the office - which means your email will then be competing again with the next morning's emails. For an industrial email campaign, I recommend sending emails right before the lunch hour begins when many people are checking emails (11:00), or mid-afternoon - no later than 3:00. Consider your specific audience's habits, and then experiment to see which times pull the best numbers.

Email marketing done right is like any other marketing tactic. It takes thoughtful planning, continued refining, and a creative communications piece. What are tips you can offer to others who are doing industrial email marketing? I welcome your comments!

Make Email Marketing Work For Your Small Business

Email marketing is a great method of keeping in touch with your clients and, as part of a wider marketing strategy, it can help any business build its client base and increase profits. But there's one simple mistake many small businesses make when it comes to email marketing and it's a key reason that many email marketing campaigns fail.

The reason? Small business use email marketing to sell to rather than inform their clients.

Don't get me wrong, it's not inappropriate to use emails to spruik your small business' products or services. To be effective, however, you need to maintain a balance between selling and providing valuable and interesting information to clients.

For example, if you're a lawyer who distributes a regular newsletter to clients, the majority of the newsletter should provide engaging information that's likely to be relevant to your readers. You might pop in one or two articles that are selling pieces, but they shouldn't make up the bulk of the newsletter. Better still, directly link your selling pieces to your information pieces. If you've written an article about the importance of having a will, mention your legal will making services or provide a short-term discount offer to clients.

What if you want to inform clients about a special offer your business is running? Personally, I see nothing wrong in sending out occasional emails such as these. Just make sure the offer is genuine and indeed worthwhile and don't do it regularly. If you're emailing clients weekly or even monthly with special offers, your emails will quickly be deleted or blocked.

When you consider some of the benefits of email marketing, it's surprising more small businesses don't make it part of their marketing mix. With some thought and regular effort, email marketing can be a valuable tool for your small business. Just keep some simple factors in mind - such as the need to maintain a balance between informing and selling - and you can make it work for you.

Some of the benefits of email marketing:

How to Write an Email a Day for Your Subscribers

If you are struggling with writing one email a day for your email marketing campaign, you will learn why this is actually pretty easy. In this article, I'll show you some simple steps to making this process much easier and fun!

1. Think of all the topics you will write your emails around. You can easily learn these topics by visiting websites that have quality information for you to share with your subscribers. I suggest that you conduct keyword research. Make sure that your topics are extremely interesting for your readers and are relevant to your business. Make sure that you get every single angle of your topic covered...this will ensure that you can write more emails. For example, if you're writing about dogs training, you could write on these topics: how to stop your dog from barking, stop dog from chewing couch, how to successfully train your dog to roll over, healthy foods for dogs, etc.

2. Make sure that you write your emails very specific to your audiences needs and that they are short. It's not your job to give your readers all of your information in one sitting. Instead, offer just enough information to keep them wanting more.

3. As soon as you wake up and you've had your breakfast, write your e-mails. Email marketing can be a very grueling task. So I suggest that you put your email writing at the top of your priority list. Write your emails as soon as you wake up. This will ensure that you are ready to carry out your daily tasks. You will have a very positive attitude which will help you create awesome emails.

4. Research the hottest topics that are being discussed in your niche and jot down all of your ideas for these topics. Remember, the whole idea here is to capture your reader's attention. Some nature you send your emails right away and don't procrastinate. If you procrastinate and think to yourself "I can always write it another day", you won't get the results you're looking for.

5. Create an outline of the whole process easier. Make sure that you have all your topics in this outline... the more the better. This helps you write emails to look great!

Grab The Public's Attention Through Your Newsletter Names

People receive tons of newsletters in their mails and even e-mails. Some are even handed over at store counters or during conventions or meetings. However, not all people who receive newsletters would read them. Many people think that these are just plain sales letters that will offer them different products which they do not really need. So, how can you make the public read the newsletters that you will send? It all starts in the name. You need to think of newsletter names that will tease the minds of the public to make them read the letter up to the end.

So what does it take to have a good and effective newsletter name? First of all, the main thing that you must think of is your subject. The name should match the content of your letter. Do not think of names that are too artistic or fancy if it is not even related to the content. This will just make the readers be more confused with what the letter is really all about. It is always better to have the name more about the benefits or features of what you are talking about in the letter.

You can start making a list of the possibly names that you can make use of. It is also better to ask the opinion of other people that you trust like family or friends. With this, they may be able to add some ideas in the reader's perspective. They can give you more suggestions and even help you pick out the best possible names that you can make use of for your newsletter. Accept all their suggestions and think of their ideas and views about the names that you have listed. These will all help get to the right name to use.

Now, review your list and read each one loudly. Determine if the name sounds senseless, odd or ridiculous. This will help you choose the right words that will be fitted to your subject and the content of your letter. Cross out the ones that you think are not right. If you can, reduce the list to up to five or three choices only.

Read the content you have made if there is one already. If you are still to write the content, get on with the details. Then read the choices and see which one will best describe or talk about the content of your letter. It is always better to have positive thoughts within the name or title. This is more attractive to the readers. If you can give benefits or advantages of the product or what you are talking about in the letter, then this is a lot better. It will surely attract people to read your letter even if it was only handed to them during an organization meeting. By simply choosing the right name for your newsletter, you can have clients lining up to your business. So, make sure that your newsletter name will ring a bell among the readers.

Is Email Marketing Dead? No!

Some people think email marketing is dead, while others think it is easier than ever. Who is right? Neither. Email marketing is far from dead and has never been easy and never will be. If you have the time and energy to learn all the tips and tricks it takes to run a successful marketing campaign, then you will quickly see there is a lot more to learn than you ever imagined.

If you don't have the time, then you can hire a marketing solutions company. These professionals have put in the time and energy to learn everything there is to know about operating a successful campaign. They know how to get a targeted audience and how to convert clicks into sales.

Is Email Marketing Dead?

People have gotten so tired of spam that the delete button has become their best friend. In the spur of the moment they might have opted in to your list, but after a few letters, they are no longer interested. This is why you have the opt-out link at the bottom, but many people don't bother. They just delete the message.

This is extremely frustrating for the marketer because you never really know how much of your audience is still interested. This is where double opt-in is useful. If subscribers are clicking the link within the email, then you know who is interested and who is not. This proves that email marketing is not dead.

Is Email Marketing Easier Than Ever?

With the high spam rates of a few years ago, many email campaigns go directly into the trash or spam box. This means you have to have a solid mailing list of opt-in users. If a user has not opted-in willingly, they will never see your message.

Many filters are so tough that even emails on your subscriber's white list are automatically sent to trash or spam. A dedicated subscriber will check these boxes for emails from you, but those are few and far between. So, email marketing is not any easier today than it was a few years ago.

How Do I Get Started?

An email marketing solution helps you create campaigns, schedule communications, organize customer contact details and monitor the efficiency of your efforts. You have to make sure there is an opt-out link in all correspondence to comply with spam laws. You will want a program that records the number of emails sent out, how many of those get bounced back, how many subscribers clinked the internal link and especially if any of those clicks resulted in a sale.

The easiest part and best feature of an email marketing campaign is that subscribers can forward your message to friends and family. If you make your newsletter interesting and your subscribers forward your message, every email you send can potentially bring more subscribers.

The more subscribers you have, the more potential sales. Marketing gurus estimate that you can earn $1 per subscriber per month.

How To Write Emails That Sell

A great way for making money on the internet is through email marketing, and an essential part of email marketing is sending out email messages that sell. There are a lot of benefits to sending out effective emails, such as improving customer loyalty and encouraging people to use your products. They can also increase site traffic. Here are some tips on how to write emails that sell.

The first and most essential step when writing promotional emails is to know your customers. Knowing the target consumers for your products will help you determine your writing style along with the email's contents. Knowing their preferences and needs will let you write in a way that can impact their decision on whether they want to purchase your products or not.

Likewise, you should also understand what goes on in the minds of your customers - particularly, what makes them want to buy your products. Take advantage of this and make sure your emails play up your products' strengths. Pitch in a unique selling value for your products. This pitch should provide an answer on why your customers need your products. Don't forget to emphasize the benefits of your product along with several reasons why they should buy it from you, and not from anyone else. Keep everything short and simple to keep your recipients interested. By the time the recipient is finished reading the email, he or she should be ready to take action.

The next step on how to write emails that sell is to learn about the right format. First start off with a catchy heading. It should be able to entice the recipients to continue reading them. The subject line following the heading should be attention grabbing as well. Phrases that elicit questions and interest will help make sure that the email is opened. Next, identify your customers' needs, frustrations or problems. Try to sound personal by using a friendly tone. You can also use bullets to make your email easier to read, and make sure that you are tugging at their emotions.

The middle part of the body should sound positive and make people feel that have found the solution to their problem through your product. It should make them feel good that they found the solution and that can get it right now. Then you make your offer. Provide them clear instructions on how to get more information along with the link to where they can get it. This link should lure them to your site. You don't have to close everything in just a single email, because your site should be able to do that for you.

The last part of your email should include your contact information along with the address of your site. Also, don't forget to add at least one postscript. The postscript should remind them of the benefits they will get when they take action such as buying your product or clicking on the link. You could also use a statement that adds a send of urgency. You could say that this offer is only good for a few days or until supplies last. You can also use both types of post scripts to make your email even more effective.

Mastering how to write emails that sell can help you maximize your email marketing strategies. Following the above tips will start you off on the right tract.

How to Pick Your Email Autoresponder

Email autoresponders are programs that automatically send emails. Some are simple while others are extremely complex. They allow you to bounce back email content of your choosing. They can even allow you to send a series of messages. Email autoresponders are great tools for helping you earn money through email. Because of their importance and advantages, several email autoresponders have already emerged in the market. Choosing the right program is essential for becoming successful, therefore, learning how to pick your email autoresponder is a must.

Choosing the right email autoresponder can be a tedious task, but rest assured that your efforts will be well worth it. There are a lot of email autoresponders all over the internet and their cost will depend on their features and functions. The first things to consider is your spending budget and the specifications you need. This will help narrow down your search.

Once you have set your budget and have decided on what main functions you are looking for, you should consider what type of autoresponder you should get. Basically, there are two types: server-based autoresponders, and third party autoresponders. Depending on the brand you choose, both types will get the job done; however, you must choose which one fits your marketing strategy.

Third party autoresponders are very easy to use. They will take care of all the technical details, and they even come with tutorials. They will make building an email list easier, and most of them employ spam-free services. Another important advantage is that they will not consume your server's resources when you send out emails. There are a lot brands for third party autoresponders, but make sure that the one you choose has excellent deliverability rates and are compliant with CAN-SPAM.

Server-based autoresponders may be harder to maintain, but their main advantage is that they allow you to upload purchased leads. This allows better customization; however that also means that technical problems may arise if you weren't able to correctly install it. Another disadvantage with server-based autoresponders is that sending emails can drain your server's resources.

Once you have decided between third party autoresponders or server-based autoresponders, the next step on how to pick your email autoresponder, would be to look at specific brands and programs. Sequential autoresponders will help gather email addresses and send out pre-made messages to your subscribers. Once used correctly, sequential autoresponders will help you increase site traffic or product sales.

Some email autoresponders depend on the internet to work while others have their own servers. Some would only require your computer for it to work. There is definitely a wide selection of email autoresponders available on the web, and you should take the time to look around so you can find the right one. Don't forget to check out reviews to provide you with the information you need for comparing their features, functions and costs.

Using an email autoresponder is a great way of earning revenue for your business and having the right program will help ensure success. Following these tips on how to pick your email autoresponders can help make sure that you do get the right program.
